Kevin Bright is the only survivor of an attack by the BTK killer.
History[]
While looking into the BTK files, Bill learned from Bernie Drowatzky that Kevin was still in the area and was the only known survivor of an attack by BTK. Though BTK had never actually claimed Kevin's sister as a victim, the timeline and everything else matched up with BTK's crimes and she fit right in as his elusive fifth victim. Drowatzky set up a meeting with Kevin. They had to sit in the front seat and face forward at all times in order for Kevin to talk to them. He described the attack with difficulty and expressed guilt because he left and survived while Kathy died. When he mentioned that the killer had worn a large watch, Bill figured out that it was a previous victim's watch which the killer had taken and now wore. Shortly after that, Kevin ended the interview abruptly, exited the car, and disappeared.
